BRING TO CLASS:
HEELS and heels protectors
For heels classes we recommend professional dance heels – they support your movement, improve balance, and help you feel more confident on the floor. We have a few pairs available in our store, and some students also find suitable options on Shein or in mass-market shops. If you're a beginner, go for a 7-9 cm heel; more experienced dancers can choose 9-11 cm.
The best options have a thin sole, open toe, lace-up design for a secure fit, and a stable stiletto heel.
Avoid platform shoes, very open styles, or heels that are too high and unstable.
For Tuesday’s class, heel protectors are required – you can bring your own or buy a pair from the teacher before class for £1.
For your first class, you’re welcome to come in trainers, socks, or whatever heels you have. But if you plan to keep training, we highly recommend investing in proper dance heels – it makes a big difference in your movement, safety, and confidence.
kneepads
A pair of dance knee pads should always be in your bag – they help protect your knees during floorwork. You can order them on Amazon or find them in dance stores.
outfit
Wear whatever feels comfortable to dance in – leggings, shorts, trousers, t-shirts, tops, bras. Your clothes can help you feel good and show the dance in a different way. So choose something that feels nice and makes you feel confident.
water and vibes
Although water fountains or bottled water are usually available in the studios, you’re welcome to bring your own bottle. And of course, don’t forget to bring your great mood!
